Thomson Trail Night Time Trial

Thanks to all who participated! Good Times Indeed. Rain Held out just long enough. Two Primroses were planted at the Thomson Factory Trail Head in honor of the Late Ronnie Thomson. Today was his Birthday.  Grilled Burgers and chips Were Yummy.

Hayes Stroker RYDE rear hydraulic brake. I Bought this Hayes Stroker RYDE hydraulic brake system to replace a +5 year old Hayes Nine rear Hydraulic Disc Brake.

The Hayes Stroker RYDE rear hydraulic brake hose was a little long for my Large HARO Escape. The Hose bows out a little up front..

My buddy has the Hayes Stroker Trail but I opted for The Hayes Stroker RYDE rear hydraulic brake was a direct bolt on replacement from AMAZON, and within my budget.

I removed the old Hayes HFX-9 rear disc brake

and bolted on the Hayes Stroker hydraulic brake.  The Hayes Stroker RYDE rear hydraulic brake works Great so far. No squeaking and good stopping power on the trail.

Dauset Trails 12/6 hour mountain bike race. Crossed the Road at the Trail Head then Down Bootlegger trail On around Brownlee then Sandy creeek Trail, finishing Up on Furn gully. The Dauset Trails 12/6 Hours course did not include turkey trot trail or Pine Mountain. www.dausettrails.com/ T-Shirts And speghettii and meatball supper was provided by Gone riding . www.goneriding.com Fast course yet Technical in spots.
