Started our Hike From Unicoi Gap Parking lot just North of Helen, Georgia. We proceeded South to Low Gap Shelter. Camped Over night at low Gap Shelter then Hiked Back to Unicoi Gap Parking. 20.1 Miles, 13 hours 15 min Hike Time.

Ft. Clinch State Park, FSC Race #2
Camped Two nights at Ft. Clinch State Park on Amelia Island, Florida. Racoons Raided my Campsite the First night and stole my Bread out of a closed plastic container. The Shower Facilities were very good, clean with lots of Hot water. There is NO Boat Launching Or Mooring at Ft. Clinch State Park. I Launched my boat from Dee Dee Bartels Boat Ramp not far away. Paddled my boat Up the east coast of Little tiger Island. Wanted to make it to Cumberland Island but the Wind and Water conditions began deteriorating.

The Start Finish Area was in the Parking Lot of the Ft. Clinch Fishing Pier. The course was Fast and Flowy with only one major sand dune to climb. The ~6.5 mile race course was on some of the Hiking only Trail. I Rang My Bell on More Than One Huge Low Hanging Limbs. Caution to the tall riders.
Placed 25th of 27 Sport Men 40+ in the Florida State Champ race #2.
